Welcome to Lost Dogs Georgia,

You’ve most likely come to this page because you have a lost a dog. You’ve come to the right place. Our organization has been in existence for over 10 years and has helped thousands of missing dogs get home. We offer some of the best free tools and resources on the internet to aid you in the search and recovery of your missing pet. Our site and the Pet FBI site are both run entirely by volunteers which allows us to offer all of our tips and services free of charge to shelters, clinics and the public.

We know that this is a very stressful time for you and your family. Losing a pet can be a very scary thing. But remember, dogs are animals and even though they are domesticated they still have natural survival skills. If they are lost and on their own even for a short period of time their natural instincts will kick in. This is called “survival mode”. They will quickly learn how to find a water source, forage for food and even seek out shelter to help protect them from the elements and from predators. Try to remember this and remain calm. Focus your energy on the search and not the emotions you feel. This can distract you from carrying out a thorough search. Remember, your dog is out there and he's depending on you to help bring him home.

Next, sit down and formulate a plan. It’s our experience that a strategic plan along with a lot of persistence is the key to the recovery of a missing pet. This is where our experience comes in. We’ve surveyed thousand of pet owners to find out what worked for them. With that information, we’ve created a search plan that combines both old school search methods and new age technology both on the ground and on the internet to give you and your pet the best chance for a happy reunion.

Now that you know a little about us, let's get started!
